Your Dad Has An Announcement

December 19, 2007: Technology Exam

On tonight's show, we learn that Monk will be moving over to NBC because of the writer's strike. Then we hear Andy's special announcement to his progeny, as well as where Andy's son Josh was conceived. After that, the show kind of becomes a meta-show, full of conversations about how the show's going, which tends to happen when show's cabin pressure is adjusted by the pressures of a difficult theme.

At the end of this episode, Ken requests that you all head over to the comment's page to suggest ideas for next year. Feel free to do this in the blog, too.

I e-mailed the tech talk idea to ken alongside a much better one the day of the show! Proof that they will read and do pretty much whatever you tell them.

"Yes, let's talk some more about the cookie party. That's good radio."

I just love these wise guys, always bickering about cookies and rape jokes
Andy, do a third album! 13 years is far too long a time!

The airplane window suckage was a reference to the "Famous Last Words" episode, almost as infamous an "Andy's Wonderful World of Physics" episode as the "International Bathroom Club".

I am curious about the driving a Cadillac to the vasectomy appointment joke either. Nothing shows up on Google.
