Seven Second Delay @ the UCB Theater 8/19

Seven Second Delay returns to the Upright Citizen's Brigade Theater in Manhattan for a live broadcast comedy and variety hour next Wednesday, August 19th from 6-7pm. Joining Ken and Andy will be the great cartoonist and humor writer Roz Chast, actor, movie star and jogging enthusiast Steve Guttenberg, musical guest Vic Thrill and much much more, including an incredible talking animal segment. UCB Theater is located at 307 West 26th Street in Manhattan, near the corner of 8th Avenue. Admission is $5, but if you save your receipt, the admission fee will be refunded to you at the end of your life, or Andy's life, whichever happens first.

To get you excited, here's a sneak peak at Guttenberg's tush:

OK we're 16 min. into the show and the mics (or something) are screwy so the sound quality is very bad... any chance you can fix?

Wow.

(a) Is that video real? Seems like an elaborate prank. May or may not be Steve, but it sure looks and sounds like him.

(b) What the heck was up with that bird? Either intentionally or no, it's one of the best bits of alt-comedy I've heard in a while.

(c) I think Ange running up with the mic and completely destroying the conceit for one of the best stunt radio ideas in recent years was awesome. Poor Andy, left on his own, just trying to get it under control!

So is this no longer a call-in show?

I just saw Simpson's episode last night that had a small bit making fun of Steve's career.

We need more of Owen the bird.

Can we get it to fill in for Ken sometime?
