All Blogged Out

Here's another round of pictures from tonight's show. These come to us from Call Screener Jeff.

Want to see more? Check out John Dalton's swell pictures on flickr.

FYI: There's going to be a small delay before Ken will be able to post the archive of tonight's show. Blame torture.

I missed out on the live experience. Waiting for the archive to go up is just like water torture.

Since the playlist got purged, I'll repeat: Where was Andy this March 3rd?

Sorry, Listener Anonymous. Andy and I have been talking about what we want to do for his annual blog post... I think he might be writing a note to you all for me to scan in and post.

I'm just listening now on the archive. Let me just say that I don't mind soaking Andy in a metaphorical financial sense but I don't think torturing Andy is funny. Mind you I find Andy incredibly annoying, arrogant and insincere most of the time but I wouldn't donate so much as an obsolete subway slug to have Andy waterboarded. I am glad I missed the show and that Andy was not injured.

Bartleby, I heard it live and it was definitely waterboarding lite. Andy popped right back in the studio with no complaints. By the way, for all the nasty things we say about Andy, seems to me we should also give him genuine thanks for donating what must be a pretty hefty amount to the station.

Dan, I think you're right.

Thanks Andy. And I'm not being sarcastic or anything.

No show tonight due to "complications from waterboarding" according to Ken on his show this AM. I assume that's a joke and Andy is just off working on Monk or something, right?

Hey, I just heard Kens show, and he said 7SD will not air due to waterboarding issues ? Come on, what is going on ?
Will the FCC fine WFMU for the *bleep* ? Will Andy have to pay the gigantic FCC fine ? Will someone tell us, without being sarcastic, how this will all pan out ?
News at 7, I guess ..

Aww.. I was really looking forward to the follow-up episode as well. I'm guessing Andy's just busy with his little cable show.

Ohhhh...didn't hear the show live so I didn't realize Andy must've cursed on mic. Yeah, I'm pretty sure that's a mandatory suspension at the Magic Factory. Ah shoot.

It's like pleading guilty and hiding the evidence at the same time. On one hand, it's like when your in-house radiation safety officer has to penalize you to show good faith to the NRC. On the other, it's like destroying the record of the spill, and pretending the suspension is just sick time -- I mean, he could've gotten a sinusitis. So you don't admit to doing anything wrong (and you don't make it easier for some busybody to find out), but you punish yourselves in advance just in case someone does complain.

I suggested to Ken the "Private Ryan" defense. It was torture, after all. And unlike "Ryan", it was documentary. And I'm not even sure you could distinguish the terminal consonant, even in glorious FM.

Ken said the "a" word on the air once though (during Halloween)

Stupid FCC!
