Is your dome brimming with ideas for 7SD shows? Are some of them not quite good enough to be good?
The year is new. Let's end the shame. March those ugly ducklings into the light, with this, the long-awaited Bad Show Ideas post.
I'll go first.

Ken and Andy take turns touching the other's bare skin. Callers have to guess what body part is being touched. Plastic gloves are not allowed.

Movie trivia -- people call in with character names or plot twists, and Andy and Ken compete to name the film. If Andy guesses wrong, Ken gets an extra point, and vice versa. Ken wins automatically as soon as Andy fails to recognize one of his own movies, which let's face it would be inevitable except that probably no listeners have ever seen any of them.
Andy & Ken set up a MySpace page and try to get 100 friends within the hour.
compared to many ideas that have been tried out - not of all which have failed - mapsforsleep's myspace idea seems like a very good one. Those 'try to get 100' type shows nearly always work, even when they shouldn't.
the myspace idea does sound interesting indeed but I'm sure Andy could find a way to ruin it. Unless, of course, he beleives that he came up with the idea on his own. So Ken should run the "Ulterior Motive" show the week prior and he along with some "in the know" callers could lead him to the idea somehow.
That reminds of another idea, I think there should be a separate blog about the show that Andy does not know about or has access to. Wouldn't that just drive him NUTS?

I'm not sure Andy would care enough to be driven nuts by another blog...unless it was a secret industry Monk blog.
And of course Andy would ruin the MySpace idea...or maybe he'll just become addicted to MySpace...Which would warrant a follow up show...- Jon

A contest where callers call in with ideas from past shows. Except, some are real and some are made up and Ken and Andy have to guess which ones were the real past shows and which ones were made up by the audience.
You said you wanted BAS ideas, didn't you?
How about a show where Ken and Andy choose limited vocabularies of 20 words for each other, which neither can stray from.
